Cel-Fi QUATRA is a scalable in-building cellular system for delivering high quality signal in venues up to 200,000 sq. ft. It is a cost-efficient and easy-to-deploy solution that combines the best of active DAS and Smart Booster technologies that have been widely adopted by carriers around the world, setting a new standard in Signal Boosting capabilities.

Cel-Fi QUATRA is CE, FCC and ISED certified. Cel-Fi Signal boosters are legal to use and have been approved for use by mobile operators.

The basic QUATRA product bundle provided consists of one full system (25,000 to 50,000 sq.ft. coverage area) for the Off-Air configuration (explained below) and is the recommended solution for most venues. It includes one (1) Network Unit, two to four (2-4) Coverage Units (depending on the desired coverage area) and one (1) Indoor/Outdoor MIMO Antenna (Antenna Mount also included). Cel-Fi QUATRA Coverage Unit (CU) is the remote unit of the system that rebroadcasts the donor signal. The cost efficient and easy-to-deploy system leverages Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) for up to four CUs.

Cel-Fi QUATRA is comprised of a Network Unit (NU) and up to four distributed Coverage Units (CUs) dynamically networked into a single system. Cel-Fi QUATRA can be installed off-air (external antenna mode) to provide high-quality 3G & 4G mobile signal for voice & data, covering up to 50,000 sq. ft. Cel-Fi QUATRA will reduce dead zones and connectivity issues, expanding the network footprint with significantly higher system gain. It will also reduce the cell phones’ power requirements and extend their battery life. The QUATRA bundle offered here fits this type of configuration.

For larger venues, Cel-Fi QUATRA can be integrated with carrier small cell equipment and operated in distributed small cell mode, creating a Supercell. This configuration allows for up to four Systems to be linked together on the small cell, supporting a total of up to 4 Network Units / 16 Coverage Units. Smart Cellular Coverage

Cel-Fi QUATRA is self-configuring and self-optimizing, distributes RF (Radio Frequencies) over Ethernet (RFoE), and leverages Power-over-Ethernet (POE) for ease and accuracy of installation (by Cel-Fi Certified professionals). The system is monitored and managed using the Cel-Fi WAVE Platform.

Uplink power control to prevent desensitizing the network
Echo cancellation and feedback control
Uplink gating
Signal qualification (channels are individually qualified, so noise or very poor signals won’t be amplified and degrade the network)
